~ Painting workshop with 100 villagers on the recycled containers ~
This is the international cooperation project with NGO JOICFP. Today maternity morality are 1000/day in the world and 99% are happen in developing countries. In rural area in Zambia, a country of southwest Africa, we made a facility where women stay for several days before delivery and get safe maternity services. For chap and rapid construction, the house is made of recycled containers used for supplies transportation, and covered by big roof which make it looks like warm house. We had a big workshop with 100 people from the village, made leaf-stamps and draw 100 names of the Japanese donors, in order to dress up this house beautifully and also make it familiar to the community.

ザンビアのマタニティハウス（フィワレ村）
~ 再生コンテナと、100人の村人との葉っぱ版画ワークショップ ~
NGOジョイセフとの国際協力プロジェクト。世界では一日に1000人の女性が妊娠出産が原因で亡くなっていてその99% が途上国で起きています。その一つアフリカ南西部のザンビアの農村地域に、産前から滞在して安全なサービスを受けられる施設を建設しました。出資はユニクロなどの企業や個人寄付。安く迅速に建てるため支援物資を輸送したコンテナを再利用し、大きな屋根をかけて温かいハウスをデザインしました。完成後も親しみを持って利用してもらえるように、地域住民１００人を集めたワークショップを行い、葉っぱのスタンプと日本人ドナー100 人の名前を描き、コンテナを美しく彩りました。
